Origins and Foundation
The West Queensland Alliance was one of the Australian states created during the time of troubles. From its founding it had economic and environmental problems. There were ongoing problems with providing electricity, clean water and tooling and machine parts.
Crisis
After 2 years it became clear that the Alliance would not be able to achieve a limited standard of living, let alone the old Australian standard. Food and water riots went from weekly to daily events across the region.
Collapse
Several mayors across the Warrego and Maranoa regions formed a executive council and took to the radio waves demanding a new order. The transfer of power to the new Warrego State was largely peaceful with street fighting limited to [citation needed].
